Because there isn't another game even considerable.. I am still playing ET:QW. I'm currently playing CAL Season 3 (it's impressive that there is a season 3) with Team FATE...

There are weekly posts about the match-ups, and coverage (shoutcast/tv) of at least one match a week. You can download or stream previous matches, download player demos from matches, etc. It's a pretty awesome site made by a variety of volunteer staff from the community.

Watching some shoutcasts or demos may inspire you to try the game out again. My game handle for Quake Wars is Sharp. or Sharp (without the dot) as well. I own both.... I'm so stingy! If your'e interested in watching me, I played with Team TUF last season (who aren't playing this season), so download or stream one of those matches.
